Kids Art Club participants  have the opportunity to choose what they want to make in the studio after taking 5 guided classes.

Past and current Kids Art Club participants who have taken at least 5 classes can choose

what they want to make as soon as their very next class.

Benefits:

Kids will learn 5 different art mediums and then be able to turn their attention to what interests them the most.

Kids will be able to work on projects at their own pace.

This will facilitate motivation, better learning, and better quality work.

FAQ:

Will there still be a guided class every week?

Yes, we will be following the project schedule listed on the website. Kids that have done more then 5  classes can either choose to do something on their own or join the guided class.

Can the kids that have done their 5 classes choose to do something they haven't done a class on yet?

No.

Example: A kid wants to do Soap Making and that class wasn't done during their 5 classes. The kid will have to choose something else that interests them until they can join the next Soap Making class. After they take the class they can continue to make soap if they choose to.

What projects are available for kids at HelloHandmade?

Ceramics, Mosaics, Candle Making, Soap Making, String Art, Loom Weaving, Sewing, Watercolor painting, Acrylic Painting, Mixed Media, Crocheting, Macrame, Needle Felting, Drawing etc.

2. Kids Art Club participants will have the opportunity to sell what they have made at craft

fairs.

Benefits:

Kids will want to make better quality items.

Kids will learn what makes a handmade item sellable.

Kids will learn how to price handmade items.

FAQ:

How will that work?

HelloHandmade will pay for the booth, set up the Kids Art Club items and work the booth.

Kids selling items are encouraged to take turns working the booth but it is not required.

Kids/Parents keep 100% of what they profit during the craft fair.

Kids can store items they plan to sell in the studio as long as they are currently enrolled in Kids Art Club.

Past and present kids in Kids Art Club can sell in the current/upcoming craft fair.

Kids can only sell items made at Kids Art Club.

HelloHandmade will sign up for craft fairs only when there are enough Kids Art Club items to be sold.
