2pm - Broom Making Class

Using Broomcorn (both natural and dyed) along with cord, we will learn how to wrap a functional broom. This class takes some strenght as you have to keep your feet on a dowel, that is keeping the cord as tight as possible, while you wrap it around the broomcorn. It's mostly arms and shoulder strength. If you can't keep it tight your broom will fall apart. However, its not a one shot thing, you can always start over or unwrap a little if needed.

Due to needing to order a lot of broomcorn and having to prep all the cord on the dowels, the last day to register for this class will be Monday June 1st.
