10am - Hand-Knit Chunky Beach Lap Blanket

We will be using 6 different colored skeins of chunky yarn (+ green for the sea turtles) to create our beach lap blanket, 4 different colors of blue, an off white and a tan. Using a wooden chunky blanket loom we will start with the tan and work our way through the six different colors. You can do your blanket in the color blocks shown in the photo or you can change colors more often (Example: you can do all the tan and then do smaller stripes of the remaining colors so they repeat multiple times). Before you leave we will all do the sea turtles together. If you do not finish the length of your blanket in time we will show you how to finish it at home without the wooden loom.

The lap blanket will be approximately 40"x50" depending on how loose or tight you knit it.

Due to the length of the class we will be providing charcuterie. You are welcome to bring drinks and snacks as well.
