About the event
The February Art Camp will be a mixed media project consisting of Acrylic Painting and Embroidery with Yarn, Embroidery Thread & Seed Beads on a square canvas. Canvases will be different sizes based on age groups. Artists will choose their own subject. Projects will be left behind and set up on the Members table on Saturday to be voted on by walk-in guests, other artists in the camp and their family members. Winners of 1st, 2nd, & 3rd will be contacted Saturday night by text but not told what place they got. Everyone is welcome to come to the Award Ceremony from 1pm-1:30pm. Winners of each age group will be awarder their prizes and photographer together holding their ribbons and art projects. Artists that didn't win can pick up their projects anything Sunday between 10am-1:30pm.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - Same time each day based on age group
10am-11am Age 5-6 (Kindergarten & 1st Grade) 8"x 8" Canvas
12pm-1:30pm Age 7-10 (2nd Grade - 5th Grade) 10"x 10" Canvas
2:30pm-4pm Age 11-13 (6th Grade - 8th Grade) 12"x 12" Canvas
5pm-6:30pm Age 14-17 (9th Grade - 12th Grade) 14"x 14" Canvas

Sketch design on canvas and start painting

Finish Painting and Start Embroidering

Finish Projects

10am-5:30pm Art Exhibit/Voting - All projects will be set up/displayed downstairs on the members table and voted on
Sunday
10am-1:30pm Project Pick Up - Everyone but the winners of each age group can pick up during this time
1pm-1:30pm Award Ceremony - 1st, 2nd & 3rd for each age group will get a Ribbon and a Free Studio Fee
