1:30pm - Shadow Box Pendant Class

In this class, you will learn how to create your own shadow box pendant. Select a stone from a variety of options, including turquoise and several other gemstones of varying colors. Craft the perfect setting for your chosen stone.  Add a fine silver border and dark patina to create a shadow box effect.   Techniques we will cover: bezel-making, soldering, oxidation, polishing, and stone setting.  Previous silversmithing experience is not necessary.  All materials, supplies, and chain of your choice, and charcuterie included. Stones are provided, but if you have a cabochon you would like to use, feel free to bring it and we will see if it works.
